1/2 cup Elmer's white glue
1 1/2 cups of water
1/2 tsp of borax powder
two bowls
large spoon
1. Pour the glue into a bowl. Add 1/2 cup of water to the glue and stir well.
2. Pour one cup of water into the second bowl. Add borax and stir well.
3. Slowly pour the glue mixture into the borax mixture while stirring.
4. Keep stirring until you notice some of the mixture forming a stringy blob.
5. Not all the mixture will become part of this blob. Remove the blob. You can throw out the unmixed glue water later. Pinch and smoosh it with your hands until it stays together like a smooth, oozing ball of slime.
6. Have fun playing with your slime. When you are done, put it in an airtight container and save it to play with again.
Caution: Be sure to have an adult help you and don't get the ingredients in your eyes or mouth. It is a good idea to wash your hands when you are finished making or playing with your slime.
